Toronto based Reggae/Funk band Black Creek Reign has been active on the Toronto music circuit for around 6 years now, getting their start at NXNE 2016. Since then, they’ve been racking up local accolades and playing notable venues such as the famed Horseshoe Tavern, Lee’s Palace, and The Painted Lady. Whether it was winning a battle of the bands at a sold out “Helping The Homeless” event at Revival, collaborating with local legend Danny Fernandes on a slick dance-pop track, or being in the top 5 bands selected out of 2500 bands to fly down to Los Angeles to take part in the “ReAmp Record Deal” contest, BCR has been slowly but surely making a name for themselves. Inspired by the vulnerability and prowess of industry juggernauts like Maroon 5, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, and Bob Marley, BCR is a genre-blending act aiming to follow in the footsteps of their influences. Crafting a unique sound that’s rooted in strong songwriting, high energy performances, and relatable lyricism. Most recently, they’ve been selected to participate in Canadian Music Week this year!
